ARANCINI (rice ball) is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. ARANCINI (rice ball) is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look fantastic.

Add wine and cook, stirring often, until pan is almost. Sicilian Arancini are rice balls stuffed with cheese and other fillings such as cheese and meat, the coated with bread crumbs and deep fried. The fillings vary by region but arancini have been popular in Italy for centuries.

The ingredients needed to make ARANCINI (rice ball):
  1. Get 400 g white risotto or saffron risotto
  2. Take 4 slice ham
  3. Get 1 mozzarella cut in little squares
  4. Take 200 g flour
  5. Take 300 ml water
  6. Get Pinch salt
  7. Get Vegetable frying oil
  8. Get Bread crumbs

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the remaining butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Heat the oil and butter in a saucepan until foamy. Add the garlic and cook for another min. Stir in the rice and cook for a further min, then pour in the wine.

Steps to make ARANCINI (rice ball):
  1. Start making the white risotto and add the saffron to it.
  2. Finish the risotto adding butter and parmesan cheese and cover with clingfilm so it touches the rice. Leave it to cool down. (If you are using left over risotto then skip step 1 and 2)
  3. Once the rice is completely cooled down start making the batter for the arancini. Add to the flour a pinch of salt and the water and whisk until there are no lumps.
  4. Put some risotto in the palm of your hand, add ham and mozzarella and shape it to a ball. Submerge in the batter and completely coat the rice ball.
  5. Move the ball in the bread crumbs and fry in hot oil and cook until golden and mozzarella inside is melted. Serve hot.

Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot plain, or with your favorite tomato sauce. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook, stirring until onion is soft but not browned. Before I sign off, one last thing.
