  1. For koftas: In a bowl take grated potatoes and mashed paneer. Add salt, green chilli, chopped cashews, raisins and 11/2 to 2 tsp cornflour. Mix everything well.

  4. For gravy: In a pan take some oil and add jeera. As it crackles add ginger garlic and saute for 2 mins. Then add elaichi, cloves, black peppercorns.Then add roughly chopped onions and saute. Then add tomatoes, cashew and mix everything well. Saute till tomatoes turn little soft.
  5. Let it cool and grind to a fine paste. In a pan take oil and add red chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, haldi powder, garam masala and then add the puree. Saute till oil separates. Add sugar (optional).Add little water and let it boil. Put the koftas and give a boil. Remove it and garnish with coriander.Serve with roti or naan.
