- Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated beet root to it.
- Mix well and cook until the raw smell of the beet is gone and it's soft.
- Add the full cream milk and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the sugar, mix well and cover the mixture with a lid.
- Keep checking the mixture in intervals, finally remove the lid and cook in low to medium flame until the whole milk is evaporated.
- Add the cardamom powder and mix well. Switch off the flame and cover the mixture with a lid for 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and garnish the mixture with dry fruits and few thin layers of condensed milk. Your beet root halwa is ready. Serve hot.
