The ingredients needed to make Beet potato sago:
- Get 1/2 kg sago soaked overnight
- Prepare 1/2 cup groundnut powder
- Take 1 inch Ginger
- Prepare 2 green chilli
- Take 1/2 tsp cumin
- Get 2 potatoes peel and chopped
- Make ready 1/2 tomato and beet
- Make ready Rock salt
- Prepare 1 cup coriander leaves
Finish with cream or half/half, salt and pepper to taste. Note: prep. time includes cooking of the beets. When they are cool enough to handle, cut in small dice. Peel the beets and cut in small dice.
Instructions to make Beet potato sago:
- Make mixture of coriander leaves, ginger, beet, tomato chilli
- Heat ghee in pan and add cumin and chilli and potatoes and cook until soft……now add mixture and cook for another 5 minutes…..add sago and groundnut powder…..rock salt…….and mix well
In a large bowl, combine with the potatoes, celery, onion, hard-boiled eggs and chives. Batata Puri (Potato Puri) is a sort of version of Sabudana Vada. But Batata Puris are more crispy than Sabudana Vada. This recipe would be a nice alternative who fasts once in a week and searching something new to try other than routine fasting food. If yellow beets are available, double the recipe using a bunch of red and a bunch of yellow – gorgeous!
