Goan mixed bhaji is a delicious combination of Patol/Patal bhaji (dried peas curry) and patal batat bhaji (potato curry). The word patal refers to a curry of thin or runny consistency. This is a popular dish served for breakfast along with some fresh pooris or pav bread (dinner rolls). Pav bhaji is an Indian famous Mumbai street food.

Steps to make Mixed Bhaji:
  1. Wash the leaves, and chopped it.
  2. Now heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Now add Cumin Seeds,Fenugreek Seeds,Pinch of Asafetida. Now add garlic and dry red chili.
  3. Now add chopped leaves. Cook till 3-4min. Now add spices. Mix well.
  4. Now add roasted gram flour. Mix it well, cook it for 1 min. Mixed bhaji is ready to serve.

Mixed with mashed veggies, two special ingredients butter and pav bhaji masala powder and all other spices which are served with toasted pav. This mixed vegetables bhaji is dedicated to my mother in law who is no more. She used to make it without the seasoning and reduce the amount of sambar powder in it. Bhogichi Bhaji is a traditional Maharashtrian curry that celebrates the seasonal bounty of winter vegetables along with healthy and aromatic sauce made from coconut, peanuts and sesame seeds. Bhaji is a fry, so do not add water and you will really enjoy the drier variety of an Indian curry.
