  12. Prepare 1 tsp kasuri methi

Okra or bhindi as it's called in Hindi is a very popular vegetable in India. To make Bhindi Masala, you will need Bhindi, Onions, Tomatoes, Ginger, Garlic, Cumin Seeds, Coriander powder, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt and Dry Mango Powder. The addition of dry mango powder really enhances the tastes and adds that twist of tanginess to the dish. Heat the olive oil and cumin seeds together in a large skillet over medium heat until the cumin seeds swell and turn golden brown.

Instructions to make Bhindi Masala:
  1. First washed and dried Bhendi cut into 1inch pieces. Add salt and red chilli powder. Shallow fry in the pan
  2. In a Kashmir add oil. When hot add jeera when crackles. Add onion stir it for 2 min
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste. Add tomato puree and all dry masala. Cook for 2min
  4. Now add curd cook for 1 min. Add bhendis,kasuri methi and salt to taste. Cook for 2min and it is ready
