Instructions to make Bhindi gosht:
- Wash okara nicely with water. Completely dry them and remove stems
- Cut them into 2.5 to 3 inches pieces.
- Heat oil and sautay okara for 3-4 minutes. And take out in a plate. Keep a side
- In the remaining oil add sliced onions and sautay till golden brown
- Add meat, ginger garlic paste in it and sautay till color of meat become light golden
- Add salt, red chilli, coriander, turmeric powder and mix till oil seperated from masala.
- Now add water and let meat cook till soft.
- Than dried out water and mix meat till oil seperated again from masala
- At this stage add okara and slitted green chillies mix well.
- Add some water to make okara soften. Than Sprinkle whole spice powder on top. Mix and keep on simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Turn off flame and dish out. Enjoy with Naan or chapati
I have used the less time-consuming method yet preserved the authentic flavor. The lamb is cooked to perfection; it is tender and has absorbed. Now wash bhindi, dry it and cut upper and lower part. When water of meat dries, add bhindi and green chilies, roast it slightly, put hot water again, cover it and cook on low flame. You can serve this with rice or a fluffy chapati - my particular favorite with this.
