- Wash and cut lady fingers in round shape.
- Heat oil in a pot, now add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, and crushed garlic. Now keep it into microwave for 1 min.
- Remove pot from microwave, add lady fingers. Mix it. Again keep it into microwave for 3 min.
- Remove from microwave, and saute it and keep it again for 3 min.
- Now remove from microwave, add all spices, mix well. Now keep it again in microwave for 2 min.
- Now remove from microwave, add tomato puree. mix well. Now keep it again in microwave for 2 min.
- Now remove from microwave, add roasted gram flour. mix well. Now keep it again in microwave for 2 min.
- Our besan bhindi is ready to serve.
Besan bhindi masala recipe does not make use of onion, tomato or garlic. It just needs very few ingredients, main being okra / lady's finger, gram flour / besan and other spices. This is not a stuffed bhindi, but okra / bhindi is just sauteed with gramflour / besan and spices. This makes it very easy to prepare unlike bharwan bhindi. Bhindi / ladiesfinger is Chotu' favourite I used to make the Stuffed Bhindi Masala quite often earlier.
