- Take 2 cups grated carrots
- Get 4 cups full fat buffalo milk,
- Get 2 tbsp ghee

- Take 6-7 chopped almonds
- Prepare 1 tsp cardamom powder
Today I am sharing the instant gajar ka halwa. Take the chopped carrot in a pressure cooker. Pressure cook in very low flame for one whistle. Open the cooker after the steam is released.
Instructions to make Gajar Halwa Kheer In Pressure Cooker:
- Heat ghee in a pressure pan or a small pressure cooker. Fry the grated carrots on low flame stirring continuously for 3-4 minutes.
- Add milk to the carrots and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Now after pressure is released open the cooker,add sugar and continue to cook on medium flame until only 1/3 amount of milk remains. This usually takes 10-12 minutes.
- Once this is done, switch off the flame, add cardamon powder and chopped almonds. Your lip-smacking carrot halwa-kheer is ready.
Grind to a smooth batter after carrot cools down. Take the pureed carrot in the pressure cooker or a kadai. Put the pieces in a pressure cooker and add half of the milk. There is another way to make halwa in pressure cooker. Refer the tips given at the end of the recipe.
