The ingredients needed to make Matka Kulfi:
  1. Get 1 litre milk
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup mawa/ milk powder
  3. Take 1 cup sugar
  4. Prepare 2-3 saffron strands
  5. Prepare 2-3 tbsp chopped Dryfruits
  6. Take 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Steps to make Matka Kulfi:
  1. In a deep pan take milk with malai & stir continuously on medium heat for a while. After the milk gets little thicker add add milk powder/ mawa & stir thoroughly.
  2. Cook until it reduces half of it's quantity then add the sugar & mix well.
  3. After that add the Saffron strands & chopped pistachio & almond, cashews simmer it for 5-6 minutes then turn off the heat & sprinkle cardamom powder on the top.
  4. Once the milk is cool down a bit, transfer it to the 'matkas' then cover the matkas with aluminum foil papers and keep them carefully inside the freezer for at least 6-7 hours.
  5. After 7 hours kulfis are ready to be served.
