- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add the butter and slowly add some water to form a stiff dough
- Next find the husband (haha… jk!) well I did! and get him to make some spirals with the murukku maker. Make the spirals on a damp cloth, or paper towels and transfer it your hands before dropping it in the hot oil
- It might take a few trys to retain the shape of the circle when you drop into the oil but just remember when you eat murukkus, you break them, so if the shape gets messed up its ok. And oh! you have to be careful when you drop it into the oil
- Your murukku maker comes with 1 and 3 star attachments. I made them with both
- Fry the murukkus until done and then drain on paper towels
