  1. Prepare 100 gm fresh paneer
  2. Prepare 500 ml milk

  7. Get 1 pinch salt
  8. Prepare 1 tsp ghee

Steps to make Paneer Kheer:
  1. To begin with crumble the paneer completely and set aside.
  2. Bring the milk to a boil and simmer until it reduces to half (i.e. 250 ml)
  3. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Add a pinch of salt and boil the milk for another 2 -3 minutes.
  4. Now add the paneer, milkmaid and cook on a low flame for 5 minutes or till it thickens. Stir intermittently.
  5. Once the kheer is thickened, remove from the flame.
  6. Heat ghee in a small pan. Add cashews, raisins, cloves and saute till brown.
  7. Remove and add them to paneer kheer. Then add cardamom powder and mix well.
  8. Pour paneer kheer to an earthen pot and place it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  9. Serve chilled.
