- Add dal, rice, mix well.

- Add water, mix well. Cover with the lid. Cook on low medium flame for one whistles. Turn off the flame. Let it cool down. Now open the lid, add chopped coriander leaves.
- For tadka–Take a small pan, heat 1tbsp ghee, cumin seeds, hing and red chilli, when crackles, turn off the flame, pour over the khichdi. Arhar dal ki khichdi is ready to serve with curd, papad and salad. Enjoy!!!
