Through doing this there's no need to add extra tomato puree, as this just made the meal too soupy.. - Take gram flour in a bowl and add water. Mix well and make smooth batter. Cover and rest for 10 min.
- Cut onion potato and chilli.
- Mix all the ingredients into besan batter and mix properly and add salt as per your taste
- Now add potatoes to the batter. Heat the oil on medium flame. Now coat aloo in batter nicely and deep fry them in oil.
- When potatoes are finished then add chopped onion and chilles to besan and mix. Now make pakoda into oil and fry them until become golden and crispy.. now enjoy😀
I used canned tomatoes instead of fresh and added some coriander seed and this recipe tasted almost exactly like the aloo subji that my mother inlaw makes. I found this recipe to be a very good base for an authentic Indian dish it just needs a very changes for a more authentic Indian flavor.
