- When the pasta is just to you liking add the cheese and ham to the leek and mushroom mix.
- Add a little boiling water from the pasta if needed in order to mix well until everything is covered in the cheese “sauce”.
- Strain the pasta well and add the leek mix. Mix everything well and serve in a warmed bowl.
Cut the ham into thin strips and add to the sauce. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Its creamy texture holds up well to any long pasta: fettuccine, spaghetti, linguine. Trim, wash and finely slice the leeks. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions; drain.
